Supercharger Upgrades

We offer high quality supercharger upgrades for Jaguars and Range rover sports that use the Eaton M112 Supercharger.

Unlike turbo's, superchargers are belt driven and have been used in the states for many years. There are lots of advantages over turbo's, especially when used on larger engines. The primary one is of course that there is no "Turbo lag". And of course the power gains are right through the rev range. Our pulleys are CNC machined out of high grade steel or aluminium depending on which pulley is chosen.

So how does it work?

The physics are quite simple really and well proven, by changing the size of either top or bottom pulley, the ratio between them is changed and the supercharger can be made to spin faster which in turns increases the intake pressure. More pressure means more air and so the ECU allows more fuel. Power increases of about 10-15% are normal. So on an XKR you can easily add 35BHP.

There is no need for a re-map as the ECU will automatically adjust for the higher air/fuel mix. So... which pulley?

The pulley choice is yours, please ring the office and talk to Gary for advise. It is only advisable to fit one or the other unless further modifications are going to be made such as a larger intercooler radiator or cold water injection.

Choice 1

Smaller upper pulley. Fitted directly to the supercharger, very little mechanical work is needed and the same belt is used. However the old pulley needs to be cut off, and some work is needed on the nose of the supercharger. See fitting instructions.

Choice 2

Lower crank pulley. Requires a replacement belt which is provided. Does require a small amount of mechanical work and a special tool. The fan housing must be removed and the crank puller can be rented from JEC or ourselves for £15.

There is a £125 deposit on the new pulley as we require your old crank pulley back. Only suitable for and Jaguar XKR / XJR and Range rover sport
