We have been restoring classic vehicles to their former glory for nearly 10 years now. In fact it's where the company name comes from!! We are willing and able to look at any old or classic vehicle no matter what the condition or marque and give you a free estimate to restore it to its former glory, Just like the phoenix out of the ashes!
We have restored many marques from Aston Martin to Volkswagen and from just repairing or re-painting some of the bodywork to carrying out high quality welding or full "down to the chassis", bare metal rebuilds, Phoenix Coachworks could well be the company you are looking for.
Current projects include an Aston Martin DB5, Triumph TR3, Vincent Hurricane, VW Beetle and an MGC as well as a very famous Ford capri from South Africa known as a Perana.... See our gallery for pics.
Your vehicle may come to us looking like its ready for the scrap heap, but by the time it leaves it will be looking better than the day it left the factory. Although we are primaraily a bodywork company, we work closely with other professionals to complete the restoration such and trimmers, Mechanics and carpenters to ensure that your restoration is carried out to the high standards that are expected.
We have always strived to keep as much of the project in house, that way we can monitor the quality of the work and liase closely with you, the customer. We do however know our limitations and realise that we are primaraily a bodywork and sheet metal company and will always advise when a job is beyond the scope of our expertise.
The pictures on the left are a few of our recent and current projects. As you can see our work is quite varied, but always to a high standard. The TR3 is probably our biggest restoration to date with approx 70% of the car being made in house. The car was damaged and rotten when put away 24 years ago! Now it is being lovingly rebuilt and should be back on the road later this year.
