Resprays

When your car loses it's shine, or when your finish is just plain finished, it might be time for a respray. We here at Phoenix Coachworks may well be your best option. We have experienced staff, a new Junair Colourbox 350Sqft spray booth, We have both Sikkens and Lechler paint mixing schemes with full manufacturer support and a wealth of experience in using all types of materials. We can mix and tint any primer or base coat to either original colour, or any colour of your choice. Our advanced state of the art waterbased paint schemes are also the most enviromentally freindly systems on the market so you can be assured of minimal enviromental impact. That combined with our own custom built low bake spray booth ensures a perfect finish everytime.

We will always strive to give you the best possible respray within your budget, and would be only to pleased to advise on preperation should you wish to carry this out yourself. Not many bodyshops are willng to do that!!

As we are sure you realise, preparation is 90% of the job, and is therefore very important. If the preparation is good, then the end result will be good, but on the other hand, if the preparation is wrong, then your hard earned money will be wasted and you may well de-value your pride and joy! Obviously we would advise as needed.

If you want to paint the car a different colour, then be prepared to go all the way and remove the engine, all parts from the engine compartment, entire interior, entire boot and a lot of other parts, this can become expensive, but of course will give the best job. Should you decide to change the colour without all this work, then prepare to accept some critiscm when you come to sell the vehicle!

The other choice is to paint just the surface areas that will be seen. It will save you money, but will be obvious the minute you open the bonnet. A good body shop can work with your budget and still make the car look good, but be warned, a change of colour is a big decision and if not done correctly will almost certainly de-value your car...

The only type of body shop that will take the time to remove all of the mouldings and trim and put them away in a nice orderly fashion is a custom body shop such as ourselves. We will totally dismantle your car, respray it whatever colour you desire and re-build it. We can do custom work like graphics, pin stripping, metal flake, sparkle flake, pearls,candy and flip paints. Prices start from as little as £500 depending on how much preperation is needed, but can rise to well over £5000. Indeed, on some jobs the paint alone can be over £1000 Please call for estimates.

Remember, you will be living with the paintwork on your car for a long time, so make sure you get the best job possible!
